 "God is the Patron of those who believe. He brings them out of darkness into Light, while those who disbelieve have the Arrogant ones for their patrons; they will lead them out of light into darkness. Those are inmates of the Fire; they shall remain there!" {2:257} How do we start to believe? Alhumdullah! we have the deen of Allah and we have the perfect example to follow, we have the solution to all our problems, we have the guidance but still we turn to other sources to solve our tribulations. If it was not for Islam we would have been kafir worshiping the elements, the sea, the moon, the animals or anything and everything. What Islam has done for us is given us a way that supercedes all other way of life. But we human rubbish, you and me, we are following the wrong, corrputed and foolish ideologies. Muslims should become the people of action. Islam is not a deen to be put on slogns nor do we believe in utopianism. This world is a tribulations and trial for we are tested in our good and bad condition. We are not sloganeers nor materialistic. Listening to or watching Islamic lectures is not going to solve the horrific conditions of the Muslims. What we need is a modern intellectual thought and the spirit of finding (Alim) the true knowledge with the name of Allah. It is a very complex construct beyond the comprehension of most of human beings. First thing we muslim should be doing is earn halal money through halal means. Because what we earn with is what we buy with and what we buy with is what we eat with. Therefore, halal money will make our food halal and our body will be fueled with halal food. Second, we muslims need to stop watching films, movies, T.V. listening to music and other entertainment related garbage. They are literally images, destroying our intellectual capacity and putting us to sleep. They are exactly the shadows of Allegory of the Cave. Watching these images even for educational purpose is not acceptable. People who think they are observing the presents norms and culture are still getting conditioned. Then there is the propagation of a beaten down, a more attractive version of Islam taught through the videos lecture series. Their intentions might have been honest but now even they have turned towards popularity. What we need to do is to wake ourselves up and warn others. Allah has given a deen which supercedes all other way of life. We need to spread Islam to others, but we muslims we are not interested in converting others to Islam As soon as you start talking about propagation of Islam, muslims try as hard as to stop you right there. "Oh! we need to know everything about Islam before we proceed to others. Oh! we already have too many problems among ourselves." "We, muslim, are not interested in propagating the faith. We are too busy fighting among ourselves. And the punishment for that is there for us to see. The muslims are practically are on their knees, chained and treated even worse than animals. Even the weakest nations are threatening the muslims. From Serbia to India, from Russia to Australia all of them are making inrows into the dar-ul-Islam. People are saying: "look at us we are not perfect!", I'm asking will you ever be perfect, go ask the greatest aalim whether he's perfect. The poor man in his humility says he is nobody, a sinner, a slave of Allah. So, what should we do, stop spreading the deen of Allah. Look at the example of our Nabi-e-Karem(SAW), the very people who are stopping us from spreading the deen gives the best example. But they can't see the natural flow of the examples they are giving. In Hajatul-weda there were 110, 000 ashabas present in the khutba and our Nabi-e-karem {SAW} in his farewell message is asking them "have I delievered the message to you" they all as one voice said most certainly you have. And that moment the best of all creation Nabi-e-karem {SAW} lifts his eyes towards heaven and say ya barei talala you be a witness to that the message has been given and you my brethen who are here pass this message to others who are absent. And they scattered throughout the world, out of 110, 000 not even 10, 000 are buried in the Arabian peninsula. Where did they go? to Mars, to Jupiter, they understood the meaning of our Nabi-e-karem{SAW} message and they spread out throughout the world, they went to China, Indonesia, India, Africa, Iran they literally spread this deen to the ends of the world. The example is that they spread out through out the world looking for who muslims? to convert the already converted. Thats the example they give, they fail to realize the nature flow, the concept the reality of the examples they are giving from the Sunnah. Were the ashabas perfect? do you know that 3 out of 4 khulafa-e-rashideen were killed, do you have that there was squabble going on as soon as the greatest of all creation died. Seydna Ali and Amir Maweya, two ashabas fighting, killing each other. Were they perfect? In the lifetime of our Nabi-e-karem {SAW} he said People who dont come from Friday prayer, I feel like going and buring their house. Meaning that there were people during his lifetime that were not making jummah. Is it possible? of course it is. Why did the ashabas went out of Arabia when it was not perfect itself. The example is spread the deen of Allah, tell them anything and everything it doesnot matter how little it is. And by helping others we are going to help ourselves. Th is is the punishment of Allah on us, since we cannot do the job we are getting punished. Our salvation lies in the deen and with the spread of this deen. If we dont the job the punishment is there for us to see and its going to get even worse. Change the people before the go out and reek havoc in the land."
