ن وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ   

68.1 . Nun . By the pen and that which they write ( therewith ) ,

مَا أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ   

68.2 . Thou art not , for thy Lord ' s favor unto thee , a madman .

وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجْراً غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ   

68.3 . And lo! thine verily will he a reward unfailing .

وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ   

68.4 . And lo! thou art of a tremendous nature .

فَسَتُبْصِرُ وَيُبْصِرُونَ   

68.5 . And thou wilt see and they will see

بِأَييِّكُمُ الْمَفْتُونُ   

68.6 . Which of you is the demented .

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ   

68.7 . Lo! thy Lord is best aware of him who strayeth from his way , and He is best aware of those who walk aright .

فَلَا تُطِعِ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ   

68.8 . Therefor obey not thou the rejecters

وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ   

68.9 . Who would have had thee compromise , that they may compromise .

وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَّهِينٍ   

68.10 . Neither obey thou each feeble oath monger ,
