Category : Recommended Audio
Author : Shaykh Abu Yusuf Riyadh ul Haq
ISBN : 07

Description : Surah Fatihah is read in each and every salah and contained within is the following dua “Guide us to the path of those whom you have favoured and not on the path of those upon whom Allah’s wrath descended nor those who went astray”. The categories of the people referred to is discussed as well highlighting the dangers of imitating them. The noble prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his companions رضى الله عنهم went to great lengths to oppose the practices and ways of the disbeliever’s but Muslims continue to imitate the culture, fashion and trends of the disbeliever’s, is it simply to impress them? Thought provoking discourse!

Category : Recommended Audio
Author : Shaykh Abu Yusuf Riyadh ul Haq
ISBN : 20

Description : ‘None of you has truly believed, until he desires for his brother, that which he desires for himself’ declared the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم. One can never hope to attain Taqwa (fear of Allah) and be truly successful in religion until one adopts and practices selflessness. It was the selflessness and the self-sacrifice of the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم and the Sahabah رضي الله عنه which was responsible for Islam reaching us today. Islam has placed a great emphasis on the spirit of sacrifice within many of its teachings. Selfishness is a disease which is rampant amongst people, both Muslims and non-Muslims. This talk discusses some aspects of selfishness.
